Career
I started my new job on tuesday. As I talked about in an earlier post I got a promotion at work and I am a set-up now. Instead of running the machines at work I work on them now fixing quality issues and doing prodution changeovers and trouble shooting machine problems. So far I love it, I have done this kind of job before at a different place and really enjoyed it then also. I can actually come home now and be in a good mood instead of being mad and stressed out. Don't get me wrong they both have there pros and cons but I feel that with being a set-up there will be a lot more pros than cons. I like trouble shooting things and trying to fix them and make them better. The biggest thing right now is being overwhelmed with school so after next semester is over I am going to slow down and only take one or two classes a semester but I'm going to go all year round instead of taking the summers off, to make up for what I wasn't able to take during the regular school year. As of right now the schooling is getting in the way with everything and it is beginning to become a real hassle but I will finish this year out. My grades are starting to show that I'm getting burnt out already and that's not good. I just feel so tired all the time and it's affecting my life and my career all around, but I will finish school and become what I set out to be.

My friend's dad does something like you do, and he loves it also. With his job though he has to travel sometimes to show others how to work the part and fix it. For example, he came home this weekend from another state, and he was there for three weeks. My friend ends up staying with me sometimes, or I stay there because her mom also travels for her job. I know what you mean by feeling burnt out I have a lot to balance too. High school, outside actitives, and college is really taking a burning me out. I sometimes find it so hard to sit down and blog. So far my grades are not slipping that bad, but it is more that I am physically burnt out. I am happy to see that you are liking your new job and I think your plan of doing it over the summer will help with the stress. Also I feel it will help you to have a great effect on your career and school since that is something that seems really important to you. I think once you cut down a bit you will be able to have some down time, and stop being tired. This will help your grades and you career. It is good to see that even though you are tired you are still not giving up what you set out to be. That shows good moral character, and that you are hard working. Hopefully next semester and the rest of your college years go well for you!
