What a nice weekend
This was such a nice weekend, the weather was so nice. One of my friends had a all guys baby shower which went really well. We played some crazy games, like eating baby food and trying to guess what flavor it was. Then someone melted different kinds of candy bars in diapers making it look like poo. We had to try and guess what kind of candy bar it was. It turned out to be really fun, plus the beer was pretty good as well lol. I was able to just sit back this weekend and relax, but this coming week will be pretty busy for me. I do get to look forward to a nice 4 day weekend next week though which will be so awesome I can not wait to get to spend sometime with the family and eat some delicious food and of course play Assassins Creed III, which is really awesome. The graphics are so realistic it crazy, there is only one thing that don't like and that is the one map where things look futuristic I have always been a fan of AC because they took some much time and put so much detail in the realistic surroundings making it so real for that era. Now they mixed it up by making it somewhat real and futuristic at the same time, that is the only thing though besides that the game is amazing.

It sounds like you had a pretty good weekend! I had a pretty good weekend myself. I didn't do a whole lot, but it was nice to actually NOT have something to do all of the time. I liked being able to relax with the family.. we even broke out into some Guitar Hero this weekend too haha! It was a lot of fun. I really enjoy the days where I can just sit at home and do absolutely nothing and be content with that. For a while, like in the summer, I was always wanting to go out and have something to do every second of every day. But now since I’ve been so overly busy.. all I want to do is nothing Haha I've heard of playing that game with the melted candy bars at baby showers haha, kinda gross but still fun :) did you have to eat it? lol All of the baby showers I've been to we havent really played very many games, but I do remember hearing stories about that game. Sounds like a lot of fun to me. I'm not really too much of a big gammer nor do I really know what AC is about.. probably about killing people or things right? haha! I can't wait for thanksgiving and be able to just have some down time and relax some more. I feel like since the semester is almost over, that all of the homework and assignments are creeping up and I need to get them done! Oh, how I am a procrastinator haha! ReplyDeleteThe baby shower story is so funny because in my family we are crazy about playing games like that. The new one we did was we had to cut off a piece of string to see how big around she was. The person who was the closest got a prize. But my absolute favorite idea was a couple game the baby's gender to a baker, and he baked a cake that was either pink or blue to show whether it was a boy or a girl. So when they cut into the cake not only did the family and friends find out, but they found out what it was themselves. I thought that was a really creative idea that makes it a surprise for everyone, and makes you feel special that you found out when they did. I have nevr heard of an all guys baby shower though. That sounds interesting because usually it is more of a girl thing, and guys do not like to join in. I have heard of that game you are playing is really good. I am not a big video game person, but I have 3 brothers, and a lot of guys friends who enjoy those games. It sounds like you had a nice weekend. Mine was so busy I never had time to sit down, just relax. Hopefully I can do that soon because I need a break. It gets stressful sometimes trying to place high school, college, a social life, and not to mention trying to find a job. I am glad you had a nice weekend, and I hope you have more!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to hear your weekend was good. Like you I spent the weekend with my friends. All of my friends decided they would come home from college for Veterans Day weekend. It was nice to sit around and talk like old times. I must say I missed them, but in some ways I feel like we have all changed. We all got new friends and we are just not on the same level anymore. I mean don’t get me wrong I love them all to death, and it was nice spending time with them. I feel it is still hard to admit we grew apart. I have different friends now from home, and it is hard when they come back at different times they expect me to drop what I am doing. Don’t get me wrong I want to spend time with them, but they have to remember just because I didn’t move away doesn’t mean I don’t have a life. My weekend also consisted of me going shopping with my mom and sisters. It was so nice spending time with the girls in my family with a day of shopping! To me it sounds like this weekend is what we both needed. We had time off of school, and we were able to do what we wanted. I love these types of weekends; they make me feel like myself again. It allows me to feel less stress, probably the same for you. I hope this weekend is the same, but if not we still have Thanksgiving break!
