So i have an exam coming up in my math class, not to sure about it. It is supposedly all fractions which, I really dislike. I'm in pre-algebra, so its not to hard. It is sort of a nice refresher from high school. I have been out of school for a long time. So starting off with this class is probably a good thing for me. I never really enjoyed math in high school either just never cared about all the different theory's and so forth, plus it was a little confusing. So I pretty much squeaked my way by, thinking when am I ever going to use this later in life. Man I was wrong. I have actually used a lot of what I learned in the real world. Now that I am going back to school, I wish i would have tried a little harder and payed more attention. Now that I am going into engineering I have to use a ton of math, and its not easy. I know that staying focused and working my tail off, hopefully I will come out of this with a nice degree.

  1. It's good to hear you've used a lot of the math you've learned and put it to use. I hate math. I had to take a intro algebra last quarter and I think my prof just passed me to pass me. I did really bad on my tests and exams and somehow I ended up getting a C in the course. I really don't know how I managed to do that. Ha! I'm glad that I don't have any more math classes the rest of my college career, so that's pretty nice. I'm sure you will do fine on your exam. Math is one of the most difficult subjects for a lot of people, especially for me it was. I would do really good on the homework assignments and get all the answers right, but I would clam up when I took tests and exams. I think I was so paranoid about getting that "C" I needed to pass I choked up. Hopefully you aren't like I was. I'm sure you will do fine, like I said, and you'll be able to use a lot of what you learn toward your career. Just keep your head up! It'll all be worth it!
