I just got out of my Digital Circuits class a little bit ago. My instructor is kind of hard to follow some times. There are instances, were i think since it is so easy for him that he thinks we should all know it already or learn it very quickly. He also moves very quickly and can get kind of scattered when explaining something. For me it is a class were i have to keep doing the problems over and over again to get a good grasp on it. Once i have done the problems a few times its not as hard and I am getting the hang of it. For instance we are getting ready to start chapter 3 and today i finally got one of the problems i had been working on in chapter one. He said he was going to slow down, we shall see.
Today though was not to bad, we got to use a computer program called "multisim" Which is a program where you can design electrical circuits. It was kind of frustrating at first not being able to get my circuit complete. After a few second looks I found what I had messed up. There is just so many things you can do so there is a lot of places to mess up. Once I finished and everything was working, we had to use some tools on it to get a visual read out of the input and output waves. We used a "Oscilloscope" or scope for short. I bet i tried 15 different ways of hooking it up and mine did not look anything like what it was supposed to. So i asked my instructor and he was able to help I would have never tried changing the voltage. So now I know, always look for more than the obvious.
Hello, I have ETT as well and yes it is not easy but if you work hard on it I think you will be fine. If I v=can help you in anyway let me Know because so for I understand what Tom is talking about. The binary code is not that bad you just have to see what the best way is for you to get the answers, my class is on the hexadecimal and octal decimal right knows and that looks harder than it is as well. SO like I said let me Know if I can help you out and do not give up. As for as the rest of my classes go I am just trying to hang in there this blogger crap has got me stressed out more than anything else. I t has taking me forever to just get it done. I hope I have got it down now but only time will tell. Other than EET and English what else do you have and how are those classes going? You are going full time right I am and sometimes I wish I was not. Well at least we have this little break and can kind of distress for a while. I put up a post about my plans this weekend. What are your plans? Well I just want to get this done and I am almost there I only have 20 or so more words to go. Dang still not there not for sure what else to say. I<M there so have a good weekend and be safe.
